hitters after 8 weeks

well, teixeira has finally picked up the pace, just as ortiz and floyd go into a slump. i bench shannon stewart and he goes off. my pitching has been sad, sad, sad. i can't figure this game out. i think i'll pick up bill hall and dump miles, and chavez goes byebye to make room for a new two start pitcher: davies or wang probably.

current projections:
Teixeira, Mark 1B TEX 530
Ortiz, David DH BOS 520
Cabrera, Miguel M. RF FLA 500
Dunn, Adam LF CIN 496
Stewart, Shannon LF MIN 486
Biggio, Craig CF HOU 483
Floyd, Cliff LF NYM 440
Lopez, Felipe SS CIN 405

starting week 8

well, i dropped Foulke cuz i can't see why the RSox would keep him as their closer. i picked up hermanson. the WSox get lots of wins and hermanson's been good. i picked up luis castillo, who sadly is still not playing, and this put miles on the bench for the week, who i just figured out was injured not benched. oh well, in the long run, i'd rather have castillo. castillo could have 50 points more than miles over the rest of the season.

when vidro gets back, i'll have five middle infielders.

pitchers after six weeks

towers hopefully will make of for the disappointment of kerry wood. i picked up paul byrd for his two easy starts this week, and then i hope never to see him again.

pedro 604
burnett 518
webb 501
towers 500

hitters after 6 weeks

well, now we only got three hitters projected at over 500, and i doubt biggio can keep his pace up. oh well, i'm happy now with my six hitters (ortiz, dunn, floyd, cabrera, teixeira, shannon stewart). thanks to vidro's injury, middle infield is shaky once again (biggio, miles, felipe lopez). at catcher, piazza is still slightly above average, i guess. chavez is a couple weeks from the waiver wire.

Ortiz, David DH BOS 578
Dunn, Adam LF CIN 556
Biggio, Craig CF HOU 534
Floyd, Cliff LF NYM 477
Teixeira, Mark 1B TEX 473
Cabrera, Miguel M. RF FLA 496
Stewart, Shannon LF MIN 464
Miles, Aaron 2B COL 398
Piazza, Mike C NYM 350
Vidro, Jose 2B WAS 355
Lopez, Felipe SS CIN 346
Chavez, Eric 3B OAK 175

poor management

Some say both the gm and dugout manager for the turncoats should be fired. between draft day brain farts and add/drop blunders, the turncoats cannot grab a weekly division title, and thus ownership has been deprived of a single five dollar reward this year...

That being said, few other teams could stand such an onslaught from the division rival Diamond Demons this week.

Okay, so we're five weeks in and currently in 8th out of 12. Let's just get over it. Get a life...Go play XBox...something...
